Oh. My. GODS!!! I was encouraged to read this book by two friends of mine and I finally gave in. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. What an amazing book by Neil Gaiman!

So much to comment upon here. I am overwhelmed. Really enjoying my late intro to Gaiman's work. Is it enough to say I was simultaneously entertained, horrified, and perplexed?

There were parts of this book that I loved. There were parts of this book that I really did not love. I was hoping this would be another Gaimen book that felt like it was made from a part of my heart but I guess they cant all be. Maybe it was me? Maybe I just wasn't in the mood? If you love Gaiman or have an interest in the lore of gods, give it a whirl. Though it didnt sing like some of his other work, I'm always happy to see Loki's name in print.

Again, again!

I've read (and listened to) this treasure multiple times over. I never tire of it and it always feels brand new to me. Every detail about every location puts you completely in the moment. It's true art.
