This novel is very sweet, but I wish the romance storyline was more fleshed out and seen through to fruition to a greater extent. Although annoying at first, the main character Auden becomes endearing and lovable by the end.

lighthearted reflective slow-paced

So vanilla! It's a perfectly fine read and has all the elements of a summery YA romance but nothing surprised me and it just felt really long at times mostly because things were so predictable. I read it mostly so I can watch the Netflix adaptation and I think it'll be fine on screen because there's a lot they can cut out...
