While I can definitely agree that this is a fun Rom-Com story, I also kind of hated most of the characters, so it was a mixed bag while reading. Nothing really wrong, but nothing I really love either.
emotional funny lighthearted

This was both at parts delightful and hella frustrating through the early half. Roxanne was just downright unlikeable as the beginning progressed and it took forever for Tessa to grow into her spine. Will I give this another shot down the way? Most likely.
But until then I will have to muddle through my conflicted opinions on this group of friends

I gave Vacation Wars 4 stars because it had everything I was hoping for in a summer romcom—banter, big personalities, and just the right amount of drama sprinkled in with the laughs. Tessa and Myles’ chemistry was off the charts, and their enemies-to-lovers dynamic had me hooked from the jump. The family antics? Hilarious. The setting? Pure vacation vibes. The tension? Chef’s kiss.

Eh, this was my least fave of her books so far.

A week before her sister’s wedding - her two bffs and sister are at the resort and decide she has to hand over her love life because of a contract from high school.

Meanwhile, she is falling even more for her long time vacation crush Miles.

Long distance is the wrong distance.
