I am really pleased with the way this series has progressed from The Tale of Magic to The Tale of Sorcery. This book was the perfect conclusion to all the plot points that have been left opened from book one and two. The character development is really great, and the overall themes of equality and love are really wonderful to read.
Lucy has remained my favorite character, but Brystal and the others have grown on me. Xanthous and Elrik were a really nice inclusion, and I really loved how genuine the relationship read.

Very well written, and entertaining!
I love how the book centres around Xanthous’s character more than in the previous books,
The cover art is amazing and I’m still raving about all the covers! They work so well together and look great together!

As always, Chris Colfer never disappoints. From his "Stranger Than Fanfiction" and "Struck by Lightning" novels to this entire fantastical fandom he's created today, it has been so emotional, fun, and interesting to travel through this journey with him through his books. The way his writing style has developed and how he makes it clear what audience he's directing to through his books is just epic! This book in particular is one I've been waiting impatiently for ever since I finished "Tale of Witchcraft," and it was so good! There was so much action, and the way that it was a bit childish but still really emotional and moral is truly captivating. I'm so excited to see more from this author and what he decides to do next!
