This was a very interesting read. While parts of it are situated in a specific time, a lot timelessly spans across it all. There were a lot of interesting thoughts in ultimately a short essay, but as a starting point it works stunningly well.

The Details:

Unabridged
This took a far sombre tale on the on racial justice and social commentary, but it was no less thoughtful, well depicted and had strong arguments. It was definitely a more emotive piece of journalism/commentary.

Should be required reading. Well-articulated and succinct, it cuts to the core of the problem with clear-eyed sincerity.
It definitely made me squirm a bit while reading, but that is a higher recommendation rather than a detractor.

Uwagba writes an essay stating exactly what whiteness is and how it is impacting our society. It is a book that is rightfully confronting.
