This book was definitely interesting and fresh--I have not heard the theories put forth in this book and I have a degree in biology. I would be interested to see what scientists/biologists think of Moalem's ideas. This book is really well-written for a general audience; just the right amount of detail explained in understandable terms.

This was a mix of fascinating/ I learned a lot and hard to get through. A good read if you are interested in evolution, genetics, and the interdependence of organisms.

I read this for my AP Bio class. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's one of the only books I've read for school that I stayed completely on track with. I didnt get behind on reading it and I was never bored while reading it. It was very interesting and did a good job at teaching me stuff while not making me want to give up reading it or slam the book against the wall
fascinating, wishing more of the data he draws on was included in the narration so I don't have to rely solelyl on his interpretation
