I always enjoy engaging with this author. This was also an interesting story with a great twist at the end.

A beautiful book that made me very emotional. The bittersweet events that are being told in a very warm context cannot but touch the heart deeply.
I finished the book in one read and hugged it when I was done as if I am hugging Nasser Ali.
Beautiful as usual from Marjane Satrapi.

A painful reminder of how terribly people can behave when their heart is broken. Didn't touch me as deeply as other Satrapi works though.

Could be good for students: it’s short, but packs a punch in terms of painting a picture of changes in Iranian culture across the century, romance, and family life.

Some nudity, suicidal ideation.
