What can I say about this book that has not been said before and probably far more eloquently. This book is a must read for every citizen of the world, regardless of it's time frame because the themes true then are terrifyingly true now. An eye opening experience to not only what will is conspiring in the world but also how much we invite it without even realizing it!

Good, but overrated. Brave New World is a great companion piece to this book, and I think more believable about where our society is going. 1984 reads more like a paranoid nightmare that you think some imaginary group is trying to achieve, whereas Brave New World feels more like a logical and dystopian conclusion to how our society operates. In other words, 1984 is a good romp, but don't mistake it as prophecy.
