3,75 mi sarebbe piaciuto che la parte finale fosse un po' più lunga, ma bello.

Bartleby pazzo pazzissimo, ma non per questo mi ha messo a disagio o dato fastidio. Questo libro mi sembra come osservare la mente, anche se da lontano, di un personaggio particolare.

Lo consiglierei? Sì, è una lettura veloce e simpatica

è sempre un dispiacere non riuscire ad apprezzare un classico amato da tante persone, ma ho provato a leggere bartleby diverse volte e non sono mai andata oltre le 10 pagine. con l'audiolibro finalmente sono riuscita a fare progressi ma non l'ho apprezzato comunque. sarà la scrittura, sarà la noia, sarà la connessione che ho fatto tra questo libro e il vecchio e il mare (durante entrambe le letture il mio cervello pensava alla stessa cosa: che due palle) ma non andiamo d'accordo, meglio il riassunto di wikipedia. magari riproverò tra dieci anni.

Not super interesting, definitely repetitive and lots of words I had to look up. I read it for school so that might be part of it but overall I wasn’t really a fan.

While I am not a fan of Melville in his choice of stories to write about nor his writing style, this story is good example of Melville's satanist worldview (fighting against God because He is unjust).

Hmm... another difficult to review story... at times it felt like Mark Twain, but of course, it isn't the least comical.
