I'm a crime mystery fan, although this book is for kids, i have to say the story is still brilliant for an adult like me. I was convinced and i didn't even saw everything clearly until the end. I so learned new words related to detective stuff.
Bonbon is like Poirot + Sherlock Holmes. Brilliant!

It was enjoyable, the characters (especially Bonnie) were endearing and i loved the way she solved the mystery. However it did get a little bit slow (for me) in the middle of the story, a few parts there bored me but thankfully it sped up towards the end.
And i loved the last scene where the discovery happened and the fact that this time Bonbon actually got credit for her work in the paper and not Sands.
About Anton, i did have my suspicions when he (at the perfect timing) got out of the chair to avoid the dart and when he told Bonbon about the poisonous flower at Herriet's house , like it was too strange yk.
Before they went to Herriet's house, i was thinking that after Bonbon would discover the poisonous flower she will actually ask her the critical questions: who else knows about it?, did someone else visit you and spent a suspiciously long time in the bathroom?
Smth along those lines but they did get a little bit hasty there tbh.
But overall it was a good read.

Agatha Christie for younger readers. Great mystery with eccentric characters.
It was decent. I wouldn’t buy it for myself but I won it in a competition. I wasn’t really expecting the end which was good. It was a really good children’s book that I would highly recommend to 10 year olds and younger readers who love mystery.
