Thank you Allie for letting me read this book and I can say for sure that this book doesn't seem like it's your first because it was just that amazing!!
If you're in the mood for a fun and a classic kinda rom-com read, pick up Mac and Daniel's story! Or if you love literature you should give this a shot, I assure you, you won't be disappointed!
Mac is an English teacher in Leade Park High School. Daniel is a novelist who's come to the Leade Park to try and break out of his writer's block. When they meet in a local dive bar, the sparks begin to fly.
What follows is a delightful romance full of passion. At first Mac is a little closed off but rightly so but then warms up when they have to work together for six weeks. Mac and Daniel's relationship is a wild ride, and you never quite know where things are going to end up.
If you're looking for a book that will make you feel all the feels, then don't miss Mac and Daniel's story. The writing is fantastic and really drew me into the story. It's a charming, fast-paced read that will leave you smiling long after you've turned the last page.
And I'm really looking forward to read your many books in future!
Here's some more convincing with the tropes:

Super duper cute
Such a cute story that makes you think while you become attached to these characters. They way Mac and Daniel fell for each other was real. Not some fast meet cute straight to marriage and then happily ever after.
One thing lovable about Mac was how her past shaped her. Not just as a tragedy that people tolerate that she has to move on from to function. It stems from a point that it still hurts, still paralyzes her, and is used against her by weak men trying to “prove their point.” How she learns to handle those emotions and speak about them shows how strong she is.
Daniel is good people. How he is with Mac’s students, how is is with Mac, and how he feels about his career makes my heart happy. He is passionate and successful, yet he is also wanting to be seen.
With all this good in the story, I am still not in love with it. Not sure what it was specifically. There were times that I noticed I was skipping just to finish the page. Or I would read a page and not remember any part of it. It was so strange. This books made me laugh, cry (my nephew asked twice what was wrong), and so very happy. Yet it didn’t hold my attention.
I can’t explain it.

The write place
This is the first time read a book by Allie Samberts. This was a sweet rom-com book. I felt the romance but i wouldn't say it was spicy. I laughed, and felt the heart break. I loved the setting of a school and I felt I was in Mac's classroom.
Mac is an English lit. teacher who loves her students and to read. She meet Mr. Evans at Tony's bar and let faith determine her future. Mr. Evans is an author that has writers block and leaves NY for a change of scenery. Mac likes to keep her life personal and Mr. Evans refuses to say the whole truth.
I gave it 4 stars because I don't think it meet the standard of a spicy rom-com as the advertising says.
