Such a perfect ending to this series. Character development of not only Avery but all of the surrounding cast, read really well. It didn’t necessarily end how I would have liked it to but I agree that it was the best ending.

the trilogy probably would have been better as a single book but I enjoyed it. 13 year old me would have adored this series

wowowoww what a finish. i think i thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as the others but it tended to drag on a bit in some places. the story itself was structured a lot differently than the other two and i think it was a Little jarring, but we got lots of great character development from so many of the characters!! the series overall i might give like a 4.5 ? a 5 stars ? i wonder if my ratings would get higher if i reread them. ik for a fact i did get so attached to these characters and i just want to soak up everything related to this series LMAO also
bc i want to brag, I FUCKING WONNNN I ALWAYS WINNNNNNN TEAM JAMESON LET'S GOOOOOO

hmm I kind of have mixed feelings on this book. It took me ages (and I mean ages) to get into the book and I just really found majority of the characters annoying (ESPECIALLY EVE ugh). They just made stupid decisions. However, once the book found its pace and we found out the secrets it was great. There wee so many plot twists I did not see coming. I really liked the climax but I thought it was a bit rushed. Now, the end. I was quite disappointed with the end and I like who she ended up with but I think the end could have been more like puzzling if that makes sense. For a book all about puzzles the end was not really one. I also had one big question that wasn’t answered by the end. WHAT HAPPENED TO TOBY? Like after all that stuff with
Blake
hejust disappeared and we never saw him again. That I did not like. I thought the ending was a good decision on averys part but it just wasn’t very puzzling or interesting for me.

A satisfying ending to the Inheritance Games trilogy. Or is it? The end resolved the first three books but left the door open for other books to follow possibly.

At first I was overwhelmed with all the numerous details I just couldn't remember from the previous books, but soon I caught up with everything and became so invested in the story. I just had to read the final 200 pages in one sitting. What a way to wrap the trilogy – a cliffhanger – sure there's got to be a sequel or a brand new series? I'm so excited already!

Things I didn't like or care about: Avery's love life and the love triangle between her and two brothers. no thanks. Also the very existence of Eve as a character felt a bit unnecessary and complicated things for no reason.

But damn do I love treasure hunts.

I had a lot of fun listening to this one. Pretty much every event that takes place is unbelievably implausible and insane but it's able to do it in a fun and entertaining way rather than an annoying one. I can hardly remember what exactly happened in the previous 2 books but ig i just had a better time with this one. points off for the side character max, she is very annoying thank god she's barely in it
