I can't believe that we've reached the last book in The Inheritance Games series. This series hooked me up from page 1, and I was counting down the days until I could grab this book.

Avery is not done solving the mysteries left behind, but when a new player joins the board, she will need all of her wit to protect the people she love, but sometimes even that is not enough. The ending surprised me, but it fits totally Avery's personality.

I was really wanting to love this book but it just wasn't as good as it's predecessors and there wasn't much to keep you entertained I feel so this is why I gave it  3.5 I still loved the relationship of all the characters and some of the twists and Turns but I just feel like it just wasn't as good

The ♟️Final Gambit♟️ took all of the information you learned in the first and second book, and turned it on your head again and again. I admired the genius of the Grandpa and how he planned and learned so many different things that could be applied well into the future. To be honest, this book made me sick. Putting myself in the shoes of Avery, I think I would go crazy, second guessing everything. Was this pencil put here on purpose? Was that peeling wallpaper all but a coincidence? This book really did a great job to wrap up the wonderful story that the author told.
