I like stalker romances. I like obsessed heroes/antiheroes. What I’m not wild about is when said hero spends more than half the book unsure whether he’s going to kill the heroine. Jasper struck me as perhaps a psycho/sociopath, and there wasn’t much to like about him except for maybe his protectiveness of the heroine.
The characters had good sexual chemistry—particularly in light of Georgina’s (Petal) own dark sexual fantasies. In that way, they were kind of perfect for each other. But I wasn’t quite feeling the connection between them outside of that.
While Jasper was protective, it wasn’t necessarily because he had affection toward Petal. If anyone was going to kill her, it was going to be him. He just didn’t want it to happen before he figured out why he was obsessed with her and got her out of his system.
He wasn’t the type of hero I normally like, but I was still invested enough to read the second book. Readers who like cold, alpha-hole heroes may enjoy this more than I did.

Enjoyed the darkness of this book, and the story too. There were some good twists in it too. The part I mainly struggled with is the inconsistencies...he picked her up from her apartment for the date but at the end of the date he asked her for directions on where she lived and then said about the coincidence they lived same area
This was good, not my favorite of books written by Rina Kent but I was hooked per usual. The twist got me good, audible gasp and everything

What better way to pop an author cherry than with a good old fashioned stalker romance?
Except there was nothing old fashioned about this. Jasper and Georgina had me

Omg
This book was so good. One of the best stalker romances I've read. I can't wait to finish this duet.

WOW. The Hate & Love Duet rapidly became one of my all time favorite's! It was so freaking steamy and delicious I can't even stand it! Perfect amount of steam and drama that I just could not get enough. I was sharing this book left and right in the middle of reading these books, I needed to tell everyone! I loved Jasper's controlling nature, and that Georgina was this prim and proper good girl on the outside, but had some dark & depraved fantasies on the inside. I seriously connected with her. I mean, what girl isn't a good girl to those who know her, but really, we all want someone who is just going to use us like the bad girl we want to be. *insert devil smirk here* Without a doubt this duet had to be added to the TalkNerdy2me's Must Reads.
