The ending destroyed me (sobbing) but I still think it was probably the right ending, though I definitely understand why some people didn't like it. Very impactful, makes a hell of a statement on rape culture, and somewhat hopeful in the sense that maybe things can change when we stand up for ourselves as women. It's so f*cked up, the things teenage girls go through.

#MeToo... And I wish I had read this book when I was a teenager, maybe I would have understood it wasn't my fault.

A book that has stayed with me years after having finished it.

This book is amazing. I think this book is beautifully written as well as does a great job in telling the story on compassion and understanding.
It's powerful and had me crying by the end. It makes you fall in love with the main character and learn to love the other 2 not main, but not side characters too. Each person in the book becomes more than they seem, they become more than the stereotypes society would label them as, the "bitchy mean girl" becomes sympatheti  and relatable. The "good girl" has a dark and questionabl  side. I just really love this book and how it calls for women solidarity.

I appreciate how it touches on r*pe culture.
The romance was not needed.
I never fully let myself believe the whole “jack and alex” thing.
.
I almost wanted to skim past all those parts. Just wasnt something I cared for.
towards the end felt rushed because of a time jump paired with a change in events.. I found myself just wanting it to be over. The last page or so is honestly how I hoped for most of the book to be.

I think this book is good for teens and young adults who have absolutely no idea about r*pe culture and sexism. Its a great fiction introduction. for someone like me, it didnt quite have enough grit, and I actually wish it dug even deeper.
