3,5-4 - warum steh ich auf den absoluten psycho aaron und find adam langweilig? Kann sie bitte böse werden? Dieses ganze widerstandszeug ist immer wieder das selbe, gähn. mag tatsächlich auch den schreibstil.

this book felt so short! the ending felt pretty abrupt, like it was where part one would end and part two would begin. i liked the fast pace, i was never really bored.

however, going into this series, i know that Juliette ends up with Aaron Warner. i don’t know exactly what i was expecting, but it definitely wasn’t this! i was reading it like…wtf?? he’s literally deranged!? i’m definitely interested to see how he turns this around in the coming books because good lord, i don’t see how Warner can be anything but a villain and how Adam can be anything but good. but, i do feel like Adam moved sooo fast with their relationship. like yeah yeah, he’s been “in love” with her since 3rd grade or whatever, but damn, take a little time to let her adjust before you get all handsy!

The beginning/middle was really entertaining, but that ending was very disappointing. The book felt very fanfic-like.
