One of the most bizarre and interesting books that Marvel has ever published. Tradd Moore is one of the most unique and exciting artists in all of comics right now, and this is the first thing I am aware of him writing and drawing. It reminded me a lot of Philippe Druillet’s work. It also reminded me a bit of Mignola’s Hellboy in Hell or Sandman: Overture. The story is pretty incomprehensible, but the general feeling of sublime, epic, Kirby-like heroics come through well enough. I preferred the somewhat more understandable Silver Surfer Black, but this was just as if not more visually stupefying.

Beautiful chaos. I'm going to need to read it a second time to understand what actually happened.
