I was in a small-town, cowboy moor, and a friend made a recommendation. That recommendation seemed to go well. 

Done and Dusted was good. It followed Clementine Ryder, a championship barrel racer and Luke Brooks, the mis-fit who ended up basically joining her family. The brother's best friend trope continues to work for me.

Some scenes felt…eh, but all in all, it's the first one, and my first Lyla Sage book, so it could be me getting used to her writing style, or maybe it was me just not giving with those characters in those specific scenes. 

Either way, a pretty good read.
