I really liked this book, it was a short under 300 page romance novel with a super cute plot, relationship and no breakups or toxicity
Neither person was overly annoying and little acts of service was the key love language between Emmy and Luke - it felt so real, so normal and so standard. None of this OTT stuff that makes you think I’m never going to find a love like that
Luke buying coffee creamer and a pill container for emmys likes and ADHD meds and Emmy going with Luke for emotional support to see his family shows that love goes both ways
It was super sweet and helped me get out of a reading block I’ve had for a while after 2 DNFs which were just due to boredom
I am looking forward to the next in the series and hope the author keeps it nice and short but sweet
