Enjoyable! Although I found the character of Lucas Darling to be insufferable.

I tried
I tried reading this novel the show which I loved in book form I didn't care too much. I made it to chapter of reading of the will and wanted it to end. So I stopped reading it.

I picked up this book after I finished the TV series, looking for more Jessica Fletcher content. Maybe it’s the 1st person point of view, but I found this Jessica to be less engaging than her television counterpart.
In terms of the actual story, there was hardly any suspense/tension. It’s clear who is going to die, and the clues to the murderer are relatively easy to pick up. I found some passages tended to ramble, so I ended up skimming some parts just to find out who it was.

A good quick read. Put me in mind of the show. It is amazing how Ms Fletcher always seems to be present for these horrible crimes!
