I had watched this arc before I began reading it. I have to say that the light novel is 1000% better! I did get a little jealous for Asuna, but I really do like how this story was written. It was nice to get a shooter game in the SAO world.

Enjoyed this more then the last book, it was a fitting conclusion to the story arc and not so bogged down in technical details.
It's not a great sign when you have to get to the fifth or sixth book in a series to start enjoying it, but this one wasn't too bad.
The Battle Royale, man was this good. Also I just loved the character exploration of Shino. I keep forgetting that while the anime is edgy, the book actually puts you into the heads of these characters to get their feelings and thoughts during the action.
I'd also be lying if that ending didn't make me cry a little.
