This book is a quick beautiful read
I highly recommend it even though you aren't a fan of ballet or dance because it's such a beautiful heartbreaking story about a orphan child with a dream and the battles of a black American

I read this book a many years ago (around 5 years ago) when I had just started dancing and even though I specialised in hip hop and more urban styles I really connected with this book and just made me want to dance more. It’s an inspiring book. Plus I love a book with pictures in it.
