I really enjoyed the overall premise of this book, and think there's a lot to love here! The two main characters are charming and there's plenty of great humor--and steam!
But the whole thing read as uneven to me, and there were a lot of things left weirdly unexplored. For example, both protagonists have complicated relationships with their families, and our heroine, Oliva, is outrightly treated like crap by hers. I kept waiting for some sort of "reckoning" moment where either Olivia herself or Colin would tell her family to get their shit together, but it never happened.
There's also aspects of Colin's life and personality that Olivia clearly has issues with (she continually gives him a hard time regarding his upscale lifestyle), but that's never addressed once they get together.
In any case, this is a really fun, sexy, sweet read, though I wish an editor had pushed the author to dig into certain areas a bit more.
