Had some funny moments in but I found it to be pretty boring.

This was super average. Partly because I still didn't really listen, partly because I just didn't care, but I am finishing this series and then getting rid of it this year. I just need to finally read them because otherwise I'll never know. And Patterson was my favourite author when I was younger.

Honestly, in this one I don't even know what happened apart from the fact that
SpoilerDaniel met some more people from his home planet who kicked their butts at martial arts,
and then
Spoilersomething about his dad putting him through some horrible training exercises to teach him a lesson.
XD And something about Number One. That's all I remember from that book. Can't wait for this series to be over.

This book just seemed like a bit of a non-event

4.5! After much deliberation...this book is just about spot on in everything you could want from a Private novel! Crazy Suspenseful! I am glad the POV is Jack again...Sad outcome for him though! For the Rio offices in general! So glad to have a break from the brotherly drama...

Oh Patterson. You fail me. I used to be on pins and needles every time I read your work. Now, I can predict the end about 150 pages in. I'll never stop reading your work, but step it up a notch!!
