I genuinely cannot believe that I finished this book in 1 day. This was my dad's favorite book and I'm glad to say that it did not disappoint. There is a reason why this is a thriller and it is a testament to how invested I was throughout. There were so many twists and turns that I didn't expect. This read isn't exactly a 5 star read but it was an entertaining one.

The one thing that I didn't like was the affair plot line. I just thought that was unnecessary and the wife deserved better. I did like how he had to outsmart not only the firm itself but also the FBI.

Compelling and interesting, when I read The Firm 20 years ago (I can't believe it has been that long), it was unlike anything else I had read. Unfortunately, after you read 2 or 3 of John Grisham's books you realize (like Danielle Steele) that they are all alarmingly similar. Nevertheless, this book kept my interest and I remember enjoying it quite a bit.

Hard to get Tom Cruise outta my head. Better than the movie, though I haven't seen that in years. But Mitch (the protagonist) is kind of an asshole and the narrator is kinda racist and sexist.
