Meh. I thought this was okay. I'm finding myself disappointed every time I try to read a contemporary classic/hit, such as this or The Andromeda Strain. The writing style was too blunt for my taste, the dialogue seemed stilted and unrealistic, and the whole plot was predictable. I'm glad I read it, mostly to say that I have, but it didn't live up to my expectations.

Loved the movie first, then highly enjoyed the book. I plan to read more of Grisham's novels.

A very good legal thriller. Confirmed my intention to never work for a corporate tax law firm with mob ties. A great airplane read
mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

It was a fun suspense read, although the whole story line seemed very unrealistic.

Meh. Definitely a dated book with poorly-aged references, but well written nonetheless.

Not a huge fan of the mafia tie in but the cleverness at the ending was really good!

This book is creepy, fascinating, indulgent, and absolutely wonderful. One of his best.

Para fans de The Good Wife.
