Kelly and Xander are just too cute!
This book is absolutely incredible. Read it in 3 hours! I couldn’t put it down.
Kelly is a big name in the music industry but she’s tired of being in the limelight. What she needs is a vacation. But what vacation would be complete without a God-like man taking care of you and protecting you with a fierceness you didn’t know existed.
Xander Buckley is a former SEAL turned personal security so he’s been tasked with protecting Kelly with everything in him. And he’s taking that job very seriously…..until he gets used to Kelly’s playfulness and he can’t seem to keep his eyes off of her or her out of his head. Problem is he’d be crossing a personal boundary but it’s getting harder to stay on the right side of that line.
This book is fast paced and incredibly written. Cherry Tree Harbor has become one of my favorite fictional places and I never want to leave it. This book is funny and snarky, sweet and spicy and the banter is soooo good. It’s an absolute must read!

Hideaway Heart is the perfect blend of opposites attract, forced-proximity, and only one bed! These two not quite enemies, quickly find that they can't live without each other. Xander and Kelly are sweet and spicy!
I love how they started out bickering, but still kind to one another. They are both good down to their souls. Xander is easy going but protective. He makes Kelly not only feel safe physically, but emotionally. She can just be "Kelly Jo Sullivan" and not "Pixie Hart," her music persona. Kelly keeps Xander on his toes and helps him to see that true, once-in-a-lifetime love is worth being afraid. Gah! These two made me smile so much! The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot! They just get one another. I'm loving the series!
I have to say, I absolutely loved the touch of suspense toward the end! The build up to it was perfect! And no 3rd act breakup!! My favorite!

I loved Xander in the last book so was very excited for his story! Him and Kelly were so cute together!
