Odd pacing, but the writing is immersive. Let it take you on the journey.

The ending was just too convenient, and it was longer than it needed to be. I really didn’t like how every single character and event was linked, it felt forced.

My first foray into icelandic noir. Thankfully not as scary as I thought. It was mostly just unsettling and I wanted to know what was going on. A good book while there were snow squalls outside my window

really wanted this to be better as I've loved the other 2 books I've read by this author, but I feel like things didn't really tie in together very well in the end and it was a bit of a slog for most of it. it definitely had a scary atmosphere but I wish some of the supernatural aspects had been expanded on :/

Very, very cold. Creepy and scary.
