As someone who fairly recently discovered the absolute joys of the Treasure Planet film, and is always down to buy and read more of the orange Penguin classics, this was a recent but inevitable purchase. I listened to this via audiobook, and frankly was not fully paying attention during the end but like, I'm not that mad about it frankly. I knew what generally was going to happen, and was just along for as much of the ride as I could manage.

Definitely adventurous and all that jazz, I can see why this is so popular and has stuck around for so long - pirates and shenanigans are very cool and fun!

Really great and engaging story. Had me hooked from the first chapter. Each chapter was short which made the pacing feel very quick. Silver was a great character who was witty and cunning. The way the pirate's speech was written had me reciting it in my head like the characteristic pirate in movies. Cool to see the origin of most of the characterizations of pirates.
