TW: lesbophobia, religious bigotry, death, death of loved one

A cute love story about how it's never too late to live the life you deserve. The pacing was... a journey for sure and the dialogue had its moments at best, and the story felt very impersonal for something meant to be so touching, but it was a quick and easy read, and one with a sweet message.

Cute story about love is love and how sometimes people dont get to have the chance to be with their loved one due to discrimination. The improtance and beauty of love regardless .

Really really wonderful representation - two queer women of color falling in love!! The art was gorgeous, too.

One incredibly special moment was towards the end, (small spoiler)
there was an image of a woman with her shirt off (bra on), and she was expressing self-consciousness about the state of her belly and stretch marks from having been pregnant with five children over the course of her life--and those things are very much represented in the image.
Besides people I specifically follow on Instagram, this was the first time I had seen this represented in visual media format, and I cannot overstate the emotional impact that had on me. Truly wonderful.

The dialogue was preeeeetty simplistic for my taste - I wished we could get even more layers to the story, it almost moved too fast for me. But did I still love it? Yes. Did I cry during an 88-page fast-paced graphic novel that took me 30 minutes to read? Very much yes.
