I definitely judged this book by its comically bad cover, but inside I found an exceptionally helpful text on practicing psychotherapy. The authors argue (among other things) that understanding the concepts of mentalization and attachment and the impacts of unresolved trauma, and how to apply those understandings in session, can facilitate ethical, dynamic and useful therapeutic work - regardless of context (short term, long term, agency based, private practice). Couldn't recommend it more highly to folks doing this kind of work.
