Stephen King has a way of weaving tales that crawl under your skin and stay with you long after the last page, and "Pet Sematary" is no exception. King’s ability to set a scene is nothing short of masterful; from the eerie woods of Ludlow, Maine, to the unsettling quiet of the Pet Sematary itself, every detail is painted with chilling precision. I found myself completely invested in the characters, especially Louis Creed, and the harrowing choices he makes.
I understand why King himself has said this is his most terrifying book—there’s an unsettling truth to it that cuts deep. The premise of the Pet Sematary was compelling from the start, and I was on edge the entire time, waiting for that inevitable shoe to drop. The tension builds steadily, and the anxiety it created in me lasted until the very last sentence, which leaves you feeling profoundly disturbed.

For unknown reasons I've always avoided this King's book. I didn't expected much of it when I started reading it...
This book is actually about going on after a loss, living with a death in the family and becoming an adult afraid of death and facing it's inevitable.
The mystery touch is present, foreshadowing the supernatural element.
The characters, each of them, are just great and you'll learn to live them
Hell I didn't even mind the ending of the book :)

This was my first Stephen King book and well....meh......
It started off well with great promise and I thought 'this is going to be good, then it just fell over for me. The middle got really boring and laborious and towards the end I was thinking 'please don't go where I think you're going' and he did. I just kept reading because I wanted to finish it not because I was enjoying it.
I will read more of Stephen King ...just not yet.
