I love that if you listen to the audiobook, you can have Dexter Morgan read this to you (Michael C Hall, but you know what I mean). Somehow I feel like that’s the most appropriate person for the job, Hall does a really good job instilling the creepy horrific feeling throughout the book, especially since Louis Creed really changes as the story grows and becomes darker.
