Another banger by Alan Bradley. Flavia solves yet another riveting mystery with her chemical wit. Dogger remains steadfast and dear to our hearts. We get some more insight into the characters that are Flavia's sisters. Still going strong, and with plenty of room for possible continuations!
Moderate: Gore, Injury/Injury detail, Emotional abuse, Murder, Blood, Bullying, Violence, Death, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Racial slurs, and Racism
Minor: Sexism, Child death, Classism, Animal death, Abandonment, Ableism, Alcohol, Medical content, Death of parent, and War

My favorite Flavia de Luce mystery so far, this book had an unpredictable mystery and some tense scenes of investigation. Still mostly plot-driven, but you can see how Flavia's character and understanding of others is developing throughout the series.
Moderate: Child death, Murder, Death of parent, and Blood
