This is the first book of 2024 and my book club’s January book.

I did not like it. I disliked both of the main characters and the only one I like was Josh and Iris. But still they had problems.

I though I would like it but nah.

THEY DRINK ALL THE TIME! I get that people drink wine but they drink literally everyday. Society is glamorizing alcohol and potential alcoholism!

Also realized that I don’t really like sex scenes in books anymore. So that also put it down for me :/

Romance isn't usually my genre of choice but I particularly enjoyed the easy read of LGBTQ+ relationships. I liked the writing style and pacing. Although it isn't my favourite book I've ever read it was fully enjoyable even for a non-romance book lover .

I adored this book and devoured it in 24 hours! The two leads had fantastic chemistry and individual personalities. I liked all the secondary characters and am excited to read about some of them getting their own stories. A lovely little F/F rom-com.

This is such a rich romance book! The MC, Delilah, has a lot from her childhood to unpack and a timely romance is the conduit for it. I wished the book was longer but I’m already devouring the next book in the series.
