I really liked this short little novella. I love this series and even when it's just a little something it makes me happy and helps pass the time till the next book comes out. Since I met badass Azagoth, I had hoped he would find his person and he boy did he.

As always with novellas, I wish they were longer but this worked for me.

I've never read any of the books in the Demonica series but that didn't deter me from enjoying this book. I love Azagoth and he and Lilliana are perfect for each other. I totally intend to read the other books in this series.

So I came across Azagoth from my good friend Nina. She showed me the description and it sounded really good, but she said she couldn’t find anywhere to read it, so she gave up. But with my HSC looming and all my books finished, I decided to have a look for myself. And although I couldn’t download it anywhere, I found a website where I could read it online, and so I did.

Although Azagoth, written by Larissa Ione is a novella, I couldn’t help but think that the events within the novel, and the emotions of the characters etc moved a little too fast. Within a couple of days, Lilliana’s feelings towards Azagoth changed from hostility and hate to lust and love. Azagoth’s feelings didn’t change so much – he was willing to love Lilliana etc.

The events in the novel were, to say the least, interesting. I loved the amount of description and I also loved the fact that Azagoth and Lilliana didn’t wait until they were ‘together’ or anything to have sex – I’m kind of sick of waiting until the end of the book for anything to happen. But damn, all of those scenes had me like:

Anyways, I did enjoy the events of the book, although some things moved fast and conclusions were jumped to. But it’s a novella, so I guess things cant really be taken slow. However, I do wish that it was a bit longer as I would’ve liked to read more about the growing relationship between Lilliana and Azagoth.

I recommend it for anyone who has an interest in angels and all that stuff to do with heaven, and also those who love a steamy relationship. Overall, I give it a: 4/5

This is a novella from the Demonica Underworld. I haven’t read the other books in the series and started off with this one which I think is a great starting point. This story follows a fallen angel of the underworld who’s looking for a mate who will love him for who he is. Knowing this is a novella, which I usually think is part of a series I should have read before, I think the author did well with introducing the world with this story. I don’t know anything about this world, but let me say that I learned so much from this novella. I loved the world that Ione has created and seeing so much develop in the underworld. The storyline was well done and for a story under 160 pages, it was well done. The story is told from both Azagoth and Lilliana’s pov.

Azagoth is known as the Grim Reaper who is dark and horrible but actually, he’s a cinnamon roll that cares about his world. I loved seeing his side of things and how he has to put a face to protect his realm. Then there is Lilliana who only agreed to be his mate for her mission but I loved how she started to understand Azagoth for who he is. Both of their stories were so well written that I just wanted more. There aren’t many main side characters but I loved Cat and can’t wait to see her in future books. The romance is arranged mates, age gap, virgin, and enemy to lover with some good steamy scenes and the cutest couple.

The ending was well done and I’m excited to read some upcoming books. I would love to see more of this couple because I absolutely love them. I do wish this was more of a full length novel just to get more understanding of how the world works but I believe I have to check out the other books. I recommend checking this out if you love Neon Gods and J.R. Ward’s books.

*this book was sent to me for a book club*

Second time read and review.

Definitely enjoyed diving back into this one. It doesn't hurt that worked for a certain challenge, or five hundred, but I do wish it was a big longer. These books just fly by so freaking quickly that I get a little sad/disappointed once it is over. I still enjoyed Azagoth and Lillian getting close to another. Especially since Lillian was surprised with how Azagoth truly was. Even a grim reaper deserves love girl.

Since these little novellas are so short I'm hoping that I can find the ones I've missed and try to knock those out when I can. This is one series that I can't put down.

Such a quick ass audio!

Low-key needed to snag a book that had an MPG of paranormal romance. I was going to read a book BUT someone told me this little gem existed. Now I love reading a book but lately audios are a complete life saver. So a couple of hours later, bam, this book is done and another category for a challenge is complete!

Azagoth was pretty interesting. I read a book that had the 1001 nights titled yesterday and I'm glad that I found another one. These go by so quickly and it gives you a lot more than you'd think. I love smut and this book delivered.

In this book, you will find a grim reaper wanting a mate. Enter Lilliana. Now they were like a power couple. I loved them from the moment they met. She's sent to him because she made a deal with a shady angel. Hey, it happens!

I'm so glad that she did though. These two were amazing. Their chemistry was amazing and it definitely got me wanting to dive into the next book of this series. Heck, any of the books with the 1001 night name.

Overall, where can I find a grim reaper?

I cannot get enough of Larissa Ione! Also this universe that she creates is so complex and engulfing that its so enchanting to read. Although this is a novella, it feels as long as a short novel, the characters are properly developed and the love story feels believable. Definitely worth the read
