It took me 8 long years to finally get around to reading this and only a week to read it. And I wasn’t let down so that’s a bonus.
definitely my favourite of the five, 10 year old me was upset that holly and Jamie never got together but its nice to read a series which doesn't have any romance subplots and is focused on the concept. I remembered the majority of the plot of the fifth book from when i read it 7 years ago compared to the other four.
Will come back to it- wanting to read some fun short books

Great final ending to the series. Very sad to see it end, and although there are a few things I'd pick at (overuse of the phrase 'didn't show any emotion', several POV switches mid-paragraph), in general, this book deserves five stars.
I listened to the audiobook version, and the narrator did a pretty good job, picking up the pace during action scenes. I cringed a bit at his reading of the two American characters, but the other characters were fine.

OMG that end I cried so much, so sad to leave those characters... BUT brilliant book, loved it all the way through!
