The adventure continues in “Blade and Crystal Thorns,” the third book in Kay L. Moody’s Fae and Crystal Thorns series. This book picks up right where the second book left off, and it was very dramatic and action-packed! This book had plot twists I wasn’t expecting, and it was full of angst and betrayal as well. Chloe and Quintus both made mistakes in this one, but I was rooting for them to find happiness the whole time. I also loved learning more about Ludo and Mishti. All in all, this was a fantastic read, and I would definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this series, and this book did not disappoint!

Chloe has developed so much throught the series, from The bitter Thirn series to now, and I've loved seeing her relationship with Quintus grow and evolve.
More Mishti is an added bonus in this book!

If you havnt started the journey into Faerie yet, I highly reccomend. I couldn't put this book down once I started it. I can't wait to find out what the next installment brings

In book 3 of the Fae and Crystal Thorns series Chloe is still trying to saved Faerie from the mortals trying to destroy it but not only that but also save a new court. The Crystalfalls Court which has long been forgotten. Chloe continuously tries to do the right thing but every time she tries she just ends up failing. She fails so many times that she almost messes everything up. Because of this everything is in jeopardy of Faerie being destroyed and the mortals taking over Crystalfalls. It's a race against time to find the missing pieces of the crown and place them all back together so the rightfull ruler can rule Crystalfalls.

As for this book I loved every minute of it. And although at times I wanted to yell at Chloe for the decisions she made (which drastically affected her and Quintus) I still loved it. Kay L Moody definitely knows how to pull you in and not let go... especially since book 3 ends on another cliffhanger. Extremely excited to see if/how Chloe and her friends will be able to finally save Faerie.

This is another great book from the series and I was thrilled to read this book. The story has been action-packed from the very beginning and I really liked the plot of the story. The cover photo is really beautiful and that is what caught my eyes first.

The writing skills of the author are flawless and have managed to grab my attention. The Storytelling and World Building is just fantastic and I really enjoyed reading all the twists. There was no unnecessary drama in the book just pure fantasy. I could visualise myself in that world.

I will definitely recommend this book to all the fantasy lovers. The author has done a great job.

Blade & Crystal Thorns is the third book in the Fae & Crystal Thorns series and finds Chloe, Quintus and her friends tasked with finding a missing crown and learning all they can about a new, hidden court.

Julian and Portia have also leaned about the crown pieces and want it for themselves. They are still full of evil intentions.

As with a lot of books set in Faerie, you find that it is an exciting world with many places to explore and that is no different in this book. The world building and character building is amazing.

Chloe and Quintus go through a lot in this story. Quintus is so stubborn, and hurts Chloe's with some of the thoughtless things he says. Chloe also finds she can't forgive Quintus and Ludo for something that they do. They really mess up so you can understand why she is so angry, and her resulting actions have unintentional consequences.

Blade & Crystal Thorns ends with a plot twist and another cliffhanger.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and Booksirens.

I would say that it was an okayish book. It became sort of boring in the first half, then picked up the pace in the middle, and then got somewhat cliche towards the end. I really enjoyed the middle part, but didn't like that it sort of became irrelavant towards the end. I hope the big issue that they didn't really talk about gets addressed in the next book. And I hope that it's more entertaining than this one.

I received this book as an ARC copy from the author for my honest review. I absolutely love this series. I can't wait for the series to continue and we find out what happens with Chloe and Quentus and Ludo. There's so much adventure, love and relationships.

The characters didn't feel true to themselves and I wasn't enjoying the plot.  The series should have ended with the last book

Chloe & Quintus have embarked on an epic quest, but along that journey there will be mistakes, and heartache. Both will need to overcome and be willing to forgive, but will they be able to do that, and still save Crystalfall in time?
