this was fine? not as good as the show, and the art was a little lacking, but at the same time i didn't have super high expectations going in, either. bottom line: fun for what it is, but i'll probably just stick to the show going forward. and that's the waaaaaaay the news goes~

This is a pretty great graphic novel. If you want more Rick and Morty, this is a good place for just that. Don't expect it to be exactly like the show, but it is still pretty awesome.
One of the things that makes me have a love-hate relationship with the show is its overly gross features. The nice thing about the book for me was that it has less of the gross/graphic/violent things that the show has, but still maintains the same humor. This combo worked for me.
Artwork was good and remained pretty true to the style of the show. Story was interesting as well. I was just going to read the first section today and ended up reading the whole thing so it definitely sucks you in.
Great read. Already looking forward to Volume 2.

Classic Rick and Morty! Seriously the whole time you're reading you entirely hear it in their voices.
