So this was a pretty decent conclusion to the unanswered saga of "The Drowning" , except i have a few questions i definitely want answered .

Like WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH SUPERMAN? I mean if we are witnessing these events in the rebirth timeline than how come this new..err...old...err pre-flashpoint Superman* get to have a direct line with the President of US and the Army Chief as well? I mean isn't the Superman that was in contact with the President of US and Army Chief Dead as per them ? So when the hell did this PF Superman go all Buddy with the President and Army Chief?

* This is getting pretty confusing now , henceforth to be named as PF Superman

Also we get it Aquaman is not a floormat , he's powerful and shit ,so can we please for the love of god stop using Superman as a floor mat on whom everyone who's to be depicted as strong must walk over? Can we ? LIKE PLEASE?

Ok now my rant is over so as i said apart from the obvious plot holes the issue went pretty well but again the plot holes are just glaringly obvious , like how come Manta go from trying to reform himself 3 issues back to all evil king / ovelord ? how come Superman just let Aquaman walk away when just 1 page back he was intent on bringing him to jail and showing the world that even the Justice league isn't above the justice.

That said the action was good , the art decent , the issue has set stage for some bigger story arcs and bigger things to come and overall it was fun but average nonetheless.

The best thing about Superman is that he never fails to annoy me. Anyway, loved what this expressed about Aquaman even if the delivery was a little inelegant. Really wish Abnett would abandon this asinine NEMO/Manta stuff. My brain shuts off every time it shows up.
