I loved this book! I want an Einstein! The pacing sometimes wavered for me... but overall I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the concept. I empathize a lot with Nora. I was very innocent growing up and I led a very sheltered life as a kid. As a teenager I finally got into a situation where I had to grow up really quickly. I also went through a time where I had to learn to trust people again. I really like her character and the happy ending with her and Travis. Loved it!

The library displayed this book as part of an “100 best books” list. Blah. I finished it, but was disappointed with the book. Would not make any list of mine.

Fast paced thriller, but not too intense in the thrill aspect. Would definitely read again.

It's been around 30 years since i last read a book by Dean Koontz. This was on a 2 for 1 sale on audible so i gambled on it, and i'm glad i did. The narrator is excellent and the story, though somewhat gory in places is also heart warming and a fun listen. Koontz crafts the story well. The premise sounds as if it would be a stupid story, but that is not the case. The story is about a genetically enhanced dog who saves several lives and helps overcome some evil people. Trist me, the book is much better than that description makes it sound. And if you are a dog lover, it's a must read. Koontz excels at keeping the tension going throughout the story and writes enjoyable characters. Give this book a shot.

I liked the pupper
