It’s an okay book but I didn’t particularly find it amazing and it’s not one I would go out of my way to recommend.

I didn’t like this as much as the Monstrous Matches books, but it’s still very cute. Wish the plot had been more complicated is all.

Again, I love Lark’s writing and the characters she creates. I didn’t love the ‘I’m the week link in this throuple’ angle but otherwise a good read

Overall a very enjoyable read that kept me up looking into the night. 
It does have some under negotiated kink but it's very spicy 🔥 There are several very hot sex scenes and the relationship dynamics are very much the center of the story.

I put this in my dnf fairly early and I'm sure it got better, but

when she gets pregnant, and granted it is quite early on, she has a baby shower with other harpies in her family.

During this party, she acted like her men were almost nothing to her. I get that harpies don't take mate's and that she has her reasons for not wanting to alienate her sisters by doing so, it just upset me and I couldn't keep going.
