Kind of your typical Nicholas Sparks novel. But he does have a niche, there’s no denying it. I did enjoy this book and I did cry lots of tears.

This book is a quick read, but totally worth every second of it. John is on leave from the marines when he meets Savannah. Two weeks is all it takes for them to fall in love, and its a great two weeks. But the book really gets going after the two weeks are over. Can John and Savannah's love survive in the midst of a war?

Wasn't my favorite but it was still a good but quick and easy read!

Nicholas Spark's books are usually so predictable, but not this one. Such an unexpected ending! Didn't see it coming until the last few pages. Such an amazing book, I hope the movie does justice, and hopefully there won't be too many changes. John's dad was perhaps the most interesting character in the book, but John himself had some great aspects and surprising strength. All in all, I loved it!
