Is this book realistic? Hell, no! Is its plot tight and devoid of plot holes? Please, don't get me started on them! Are the characters earthy and common sense? Not in your wildest dreams!

But damn, I had a lot of fun listening to it! It's a very lovely story with charming characters and a great emotional level. I love Pipa and her diaries, I love her weird but alluring family; I love her search for justice and her relationship with Ravi; she's the heart of the story.

So, what can I say? I enjoyed this book, with all its flaws and downsides it still is great entertainment and got me hooked until the end :D

This is probably my favorite book I've ever read. Hands down.
The entire storyline was interesting and even the title drew me in.
The series consists of this book, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Good Girl Bad Blood, As Good As Dead, and Kill Joy, the side novel. I've read A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and Good Girl Bad Blood. I've ordered the entire series for two reasons. One being I absolutely loved the series and I wanted to own the whole series so I could read them whenever I wanted to. Two being I am dying to read the two I haven't read.

I loved this book because the author (Holly Jackson) had had me second guessing my guesses through the entire book. She included mystery, adventure, drama, thriller, and just the right amount of romance so that younger readers wouldn't be "disgusted".

The author does not over-exaggerate the characters personalities and makes the entire story seem more "real life". I also extremely loved the end, where they solved the case, but then Pip went back to finish the last part, after I had thought the case was over, giving me yet another thrill. Holly Jackson included one last thrilling part to the story before ending it. There is nothing about this book that disappointed. Everything about this storyline matches up to reality. The characters act like people in real life, like Pip's mom being dramatic about Pip's health, just like any mom in real life would. This made me feel like I was in the story. Holly Jackson made me feel like I was Pip because of all the things that are similar to reality.

Holly Jackson had great ideas and the entire plot and how the mystery was solved was incredible. I love how everything was worked out, and every little detail came to use at some point in the investigation.

This book deserves 6/5 stars. The series is my favorite ever and honestly, it had me hooked the entire time. Normally I'm a movie person, but I specifically skipped my movie just to read this book. I don't think I've ever been glued to a book like this.
