I loved this book! It was such a fun, adventurous, unpredicatable romp with a dash of gentlemanly love thrown in. SO entertaining! I hated for it to end. Definitely worth the $3 special Kindle price I paid and then some!

I read this after I had already read the 2nd book, so some things in this were spoiled for me. That being said, I thought it was a really cute and really well written book. I do, however, like his sister far more than him (though I appreciate he grows as a person). Really good book and I appreciate the effort put into making the characters grow and be held responsible for their actions.

A delightful, upbeat romp through old Europe that manages to touch with insight on topics like trauma, chosen family, and even chronic illness. It's a fast read and Lee manages to create some really touching moments between her characters. And the old British wit comes through every now and then to great effect. If you're looking for escapism via adventure, this is a good place to start.

I think out of all the issues I have with this book the worst one is I really dislike the main character.

I loved Mackenzie Lee's Loki and this books is every bit as good!

Strong storytelling, vibrant setting details, great authorial voice, mesmerizing plot, general silliness, engrossing characters, LGBTQIA+ historical...

Well, what's not to love?

5 stars! Enjoyable read.
Highly recommend!
