The kind of book that leaves you questioning your awareness as you read a book because everything you've been led to believe throughout, is completely destroyed in the end with a massive twist you might not (I'm being a little lenient here) see coming. You ask questions and keep it on until everything makes sense only at the very end. But that's what makes it a mind-blowing mystery-thriller and a page turner and I'm here for it.
The build up was so good - I couldn't wait to complete it and find all the answers and get to the ultimate twist. But the ending, even though it was completely fitting and made sense, it felt a little bit rushed (or it was supposed to be like that after the massive twist or maybe I read it too fast because I HAD TO KNOWW)

Oh my lord. This was just bad. From the start the prose was clunky and clichéd. Then the author's lack of understanding of women, psychology or psychotherapy started to show. A LOT. Considering it's a book about a woman and her psychotherapist this is unacceptable. But I held out for the twist everyone said was amazing. I'm telling you right now, if you want to read this book for the twist, DON'T. It's so ridiculously stupid-- it makes absolutely no logical sense and you see it coming from a mile away. Just go read some other thriller that's not totally insufferable and completely illogical.
