Not really scary, it's more sad, with its scary elements being more interesting and eerie than horror. I don't think that was a bad thing with this book though.

The pacing was a little slower than I expected at first, but that’s what you get from seeing the film condensing it all first. Once it gets going, it really gets going. King rarely disappoints.
