For some reason, I could not fully get into the first 50% of the book. The last 50% was pretty good. With nonstop action or plot line. Did not expect what happened to Becca. Loved seeing the use of people with photographic memories to help fight crime. Also Becca's relationship with her daughter. I can only imagine what it would feel like to admit you want nothing to do with being a parent and want your career more. Oh and ya boy was crazy as hell.

In true John Marrs fashion, this book brings a twisted villain, a layered MC, and a 🤯 moment or two. Every time I read one of his books, I wonder how he can get his brain to such a dark place. After reading the different kills in this book, I'm still unsure if I'd be overjoyed or terrified to meet him one day.
