I thought the book was pretty ok, I didn’t love it and probably won’t read it again but I didn’t hate it. My most favourite part is definitely the writing style, Amy Zhang is sooo talented. The characters are pretty toxic to each other and Janie made me kinda mad at times. I didn’t hate the book but it definitely wasn’t the worst thing I’ve read. Also And content warning: there is rape and suicide. Neither are graphic but the rape scene may be uncomfortable to read depending on the person. The suicide isn’t graphic but it’s a main point of the book so be warned. Hope this helps <3
