The plot is something I have never seen before. Sharpe mixes past and present beautifully to create a complex narrative that grabs and keeps hold of the readers attention.
The cliffhanger of an ending encourages the want for more but ties up book 1's story perfectly.
Sharpe additionally highlights the backstories for all characters in the novel, something that is difficult but the success of this gives the book a higher level of depth.
100% recommend as it highlights numerous struggles, stories and successes, following a clear and direct plot but always leaving the reader with questions.
I hadn't even realised you could feel sparkly.
Rebecca. Samantha. Haley. Katie. Ashley.
Practically everyone thinks they are smarter than a teenage girl. It's what makes being one so powerful.
I am done being fodder. I've become the cannon instead.
Well fuck Nora... Now we can't die.
Moderate: Child abuse, Death, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, and Abortion

Especially loved Iris she’s the petticoat badass we need!
Didn’t know there was a second one but was very happy to get an ad for it immediately after finishing.
Sidenote this has a plethora of potential triggers so proceed with caution ⚠️
